"I. H. Heater, for many years proprietor of a general store at Green Oak, died Tuesday night at Denver, Colo. A message announcing his demise was received here yesterday morning by his daughter, Mrs. Debs Fisher, of South Euclid avenue, and yesterday Mr. Fisher left for Denver to bring back the remains. The burial will take place at North Prairie, but the arrangements have not been completed. Mr. Heater was about 57 years of age. Most of his life was spent in this county until he was obliged five years ago to go west on account of his health. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Fisher, and one son, H. H. Heater, of Chicago."
He was the son of Noah and Sarah L. (Huffaker) Heater.
He married Rozina Rohrer on 3 Jan 1883.
