Louise Yancey, 81, Oakwood, died at 7:12 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in Laurels of Defiance.
She was born March 4, 1925, in Paragould, Ark., the daughter of Earl and Mattie Jo (Carrico) Richardson. In 1948, she married Alva Yancey, who died in 1981. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Michael, Bluffton, Ind.; three daughters, Kathy (Rollin) Bradford and Kim of Oakwood, and Vicki Richards, Monroe, Mich.; and two granddaughters.
Also preceding her in death was a sister, Arlen Baldwin.
