Service for Wiley Benton Yancey, 83, of Colorado City were scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Foster officiating. Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery.

Mr. Yancey died June 30, 1993 at Mitchell County Hospital. He was born November 9, 1909 in Myrtle, Missouri. He married Lucy Mae Roberts April 24,1933 in Colorado City. She died January 12,1985. Mr. Yancey was a resident of Colorado City since 1929. He was retired from Standard Oil Company where he had worked for 26 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Yancey of Colorado City and Beulah Fay Anderson of Colorado City, two sisters Altha Lancaster of Evansville, Indiana and Minnie Hopkins of St Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
